Terms of Service
By using AP Scholr you agree to these terms. If anything below does not sit right with you, please do not use the service.
The short version
- It is free, with no catch
- No paywall, no trial, no premium tier, no card.
- It is a study aid
- AI-generated content can be wrong. It does not replace your class or official College Board materials.
- You need to be 13 or older
- Under 18, use it with a parent or guardian’s permission.
- Leave whenever you want
- Email apscholrnow@gmail.com and the account is gone for good.
1What we provide#
AP Scholr generates study content using large language models: unit notes, practice problems, quizzes, flashcards, full-length practice exams, free-response grading and AI tutoring.
2Who can use it#
AP Scholr is intended for high-school students and their teachers. You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you are under 18, use it with your parent or guardian’s permission.
3Your account#
- Give accurate information at signup and keep your password secure.
- One account per person. Do not share accounts or resell access.
- No automated scraping, spam, or attempts to overload the API.
- Do not use the service to cheat on work your school expects you to do alone. Practice is the point.
4Content and trademarks#
AI-generated content is provided as-is. You keep whatever you write; we do not claim ownership of your essays or responses.
AP® and Advanced Placement® are trademarks registered by the College Board. The College Board is not affiliated with AP Scholr, has not reviewed it, and does not endorse it.
5Availability and changes#
The service is free and provided on a best-effort basis. Features can change, and daily generation quotas exist so that the cost of running the AI does not take the service down for everyone. We may add, change or remove features without notice.
6Ending it#
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time by emailing apscholrnow@gmail.com. Deletion is permanent and removes the data listed in the Privacy Policy.
7Liability#
AP Scholr is provided without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for exam outcomes, grades, admissions decisions, or any damages arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
8Governing law#
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If you live somewhere that grants you rights these terms cannot override, those rights still apply to you.
